Optimizing Your Site is it Important?

I really don’t understand why folks would go through all the motions of building a site and then not at the very same time make it search engine friendly and optimized. It is far simpler to go that route than to go back in a rework it later. When you have search engines on a non stop stop search for focused content it only makes sense.

Keyword optimization should be part of everything thing you do, from creating websites to creating pages inside of your site to article marketing to blogging, what ever it may be. That is what the search engines are looking for so lets give it to them. It is far easier to give them what they want than to not. It all about attaining more visitors and that starts with your site being optimized. Google, Yahoo!, MSN, Altavista love sites that are optimized.

Now many are under the impression that a brand new site can and will get picked up by the engines quickly and that can’t be further from reality. With google for instance they have what is known as the sandbox, and that is where your site goes until it’s turn comes around. That is one of the reasons why you choose other methods for driving a ton of traffic to your sites. Best estimates I can give you, for how long it may take is about 9 months to a year to get that site fully indexed on the pages of the major search engines.

Many, many new marketers are misled in this area. Sure they will certainly send out spiders to crawl your site but the process of fully indexing takes much longer than you are led to believe. Now having said that, there is no need to despair. There are plenty of ways to be noticed and more than you can imagine.

Remember search engines read text, not flashy images, so it is vital that you keep your site text rich and keyword optimized for the spiders to pick up on the theme your site is trying to convey. Search engine robots know at first glance what that particular page is about and whether or not to index it. By using meta tags, you are making the search engine robot’s job easier so they will crawl and index your site more frequently. By adding a blog to any site you can get those spiders coming back a few times day searching for new content.
